The Two Trees wrought by Yavanna's song and Nienna's tears. These trees resided in Valinor, a district of Arda in the West of Ea (Tolkien's "The Silmarillion"). The silver tree, declared a male, was called Telperion and the golden tree, declared a female, was called Laurelin.
I am currently reading "The Silmarillion" and it beats "The Lord of the Rings" by a long shot in how rich the story is. It reminds of the type of story that would be told in tribal storytelling.
Anyhoo, another homework assignment...yay. So no copying, printing, using elsewhere, claiming as your own. Artwork copyright to Sarah Elder. Concept and names belong to JRR Tolkien.
