“Men have called me mad; but the question is not yet settled, whether madness is or is not the loftiest intelligence– whether much that is glorious– whether all that is profound– does not spring from disease of thought– from moods of mind exalted at the expense of the general intellect.”
Definitely something I believe Orochimaru would have said. His character seemed to live by this idea. After all, in his own mind, through his own eyes, he was brilliant beyond what those around him could understand...even if his ethics and morals were very twisted by the standard of the general population.
A sketch that I was jsut simply gonna post...but once again the vast array of tools in Photoshop called to me and I listened.......photoshopping done in an hour flat! YEEESH! I gave him slightly broader features than is drawn.
From the side he appears to have a somewhat prominent nose but it all but disappears when he faces the camera. So I gave him an average nose, average chin with a slight cleft and the trademark slender eyes. I thickened his eyebrow because, after all, he is a man ^^. I didn't play up the purple facial markings that much because I always felt that they were portrayed as too dark. Slightly thinner lips than the usual guy and I gave him a bit more color than people usually do since I felt the stark whiteness of some pictures doesn't 100% fit him. So in a nutshell, this is a "sketch"of Orochimaru.
This was actually a part of a page where I am planning out a project using him as the subject (HA! HE gets to be the guinea pig for once!) so hid head might seem a bit lopped at the top. BAH! Who cares! Got to go to sleep. G'nite!

Bahaha... that's pretty funny... I still have a pretty bad understanding of how to digitally paint though, but I'm gonna have to give it up for now since I'm leaving for Basic Training in 3 weeks. :/
