For those of you who know Glorfindel's (Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and "The Silmarillion") whole story, this might be funny.

For those of you who don't, here's the basics:

Glorfindel was a Vanyar Elven lord who defeated a balrog, fire demon, himself (only Gandalf was the other to defeat a balrog) but it cost him his life. His kin buried him upon a mountain and piled rocks over the grave. Since he was an elf his soul was sent to a Purgatory like place in the Undying Lands called "The Halls of Mandos". He was later re-embodied and sailed back over the sea to Middle-Earth (the only known elf to do so after Beleriand sank).

I was thinking the other day what would happen if Glorfindel could visit his own grave site. What would he say or think? I think he would laugh about it.

A person who can find visiting his own grave amusing should have a really treasurous sence of humore. Perhaps he did :)
By the way. With all due respect to Glorfindel and Gandalf, there was also another person who managed to defeat a balrog. Ecthelion, right? And Gotmog the chief of balrogs,, whom he killed.
